You’ll be working with Australia’s largest retail operations - both online and in-store, along with pushing the innovation boundaries with marketplaces and the subscription and gig economy businesses.

Role

Reporting into the Head of the Wpay Merchant business unit you will lead the Wpay relationship engagement with our merchant clients - both WOW Group brands and those new to Wpay

Key Responsibilities

  • Build an effective and valuable working relationship with key stakeholders in our client accounts.
  • Accurately forecast and deliver against payments volumes, revenues and strategic objectives and other OKR’s both quarterly and the full fiscal year.
  • Prepare and lead Monthly and Quarterly Business reviews, both with clients and account plan reviews with internal Wpay leadership and supporting teams
  • Prepare various commercial proposals and responses to operational, reporting and technical questions from customers. This will require working closely with other supporting Wpay teams and team members.
  • Identify new opportunities within the Wpay client and prospect base for additional acquiring, payments, gifting processing services along with data and analytics solutions
  • Work closely with the Wpay Head of Sales and Head of Merchant Products to ensure our client engagement strategies and growth plan strongly align with Wpay and WOW brands strategies and fiscal year budgets and other OKRs from time to time.

Key Skills

  • 10-15 years experience in the Payments industry, specifically in acquiring / merchant payments (in-store and online)
  • Proven, consistent achievement of revenue budgets - setting, achieving and exceeding revenue and other quantitative goals
  • Strong retail / finance industry experience, industry network and personal brand in the Australian market
  • Effective and influential stakeholder management, along with strong negotiating skills to achieve outcomes
  • Strong financial acumen, creating and working with budgets, writing business cases, creating and analysing deal commercials, justifying use of internal and external funding sources to achieve outcomes
  • Ability to create presentations and financial models and present effectively to small/medium sized audiences, inside and outside the business
