Description:
As an Account Manager, you will report to Sales Manager and your assigned territory will be South-East Melbourne. You will maximize the sales and profitability of PPG Architectural Coatings products for the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Achieve the sales, profit, and growth targets for trade for assigned territory.
- Develop the customer service proposition to support the brand strategy.
- Implementing specification/sales strategies to achieve both long and short-term goals.
- Professional delivery of marketing and promotion activity within the segment maximizing revenue for PPG
- Delivering professional product/system presentations to trade customers
- Supply tender development, presentation, and management.
- Provide product/system specifications.
- Develop working relationships with important customers.
- Growing a portfolio of important accounts
- Provide market intelligence/feedback on required new product development and product enhancements.
- Perform the role following PPG corporate values.
Requirements
- Successful track record in account management.
- Commercial knowledge of the coatings industry
- B2B sales experience within the construction industry is a bonus.
- High-level negotiation skills
- Experience in MS Office suite
