About the role:

We are seeking an exceptional and goal orientated Account Manager to join our team. With the exciting merger of our business on the horizon with Maritime Super in September 2023, you will become a driving force in our mission to conserve and expand our employer and member data base, with a core focus on the Maritime Super portfolio and with potential to extend your influence to other Hostplus serviced employers and memberships, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact and support the growth strategy of our fund.

About you:

  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful account management and sales strategies, fostering strong B2B relationships in Financial Services industry
  • Technical proficiency in all matters related to superannuation.
  • Knowledge of industrial relations environment and superannuation issues.
  • Understanding of Hostplus and Maritime Super Trust Deed, administration processes, and service standards.
  • Familiarity, with our training and support, with Maritime Super member categories and their differences.
  • Knowledge necessary to be an authorized representative.
  • Ability to analyse and understand employer and member data, and effectively communicate insights and trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
  • Confident presentation and public speaking skills to medium and large groups.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Accomplished networking skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Results-driven mindset with a customer-centric approach.
  • Influencing and negotiation skills, coupled with commercial acumen
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline is desirable
  • Diploma of Financial Planning is desirable
  • RG146 Accreditation is mandatory.
