Account Manager

 

Description:

The Account Manager, works with the student Recruitment & Community team to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with: agents, universities, student groups, professional associations, and other key ‘centres of influence’ to support the growth of Navitas PYP and to ensure a positive perception of the Navitas brand.

This role requires some flexibility Employees work a 7.5 hour day, rostered between 8.00am and 6.30pm. The team is also expected to assist with some after-hours events, such as orientation and info night. Time in lieu is accrued in return.


Selection Criteria and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Undergraduate degree and/or demonstrated practical work experience within education/ student recruitment industry or related area
  • Sound experience in a business development role
  • Demonstrated capacity to meet sales targets
  • Experience in the development of marketing collateral
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to develop rapport with people
  • Consultative sales approach
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sound information technology skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide leadership and manage a team

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of internships and work-readiness programs
  • Knowledge of visa regulations
  • Experience in the development of relationships with corporate clients
  • Knowledge of CRM software
  • Proficiency in a second language and experience in an international context.
