About Team

  • Mid-Market Account Executive, Education sector
  • Team territory will include Higher Ed and mid-market education institutes across Queensland, NT and regional NSW 

About Role

  • Empower Education customers across QLD & NT to drive outcomes for their constituents, including students, staff and faculty, and support achievement of their mission with one integrated platform
  • Unlock the full potential of Salesforce’s unique Customer 360 Platform to transform our Education customers
  • Contribute to Salesforce growth by engaging with prospect organisations to position Salesforce solutions through strategic value based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references and analyst data
  • Drive for student and school success from anywhere
  • Simplify the Admissions and Enrolment, Student Engagement and success, Wellbeing, Alumni and Donor management and Communities processes for institutions.
  • Increase revenue spend within Education clients 

Responsibilities

  • Advocate the Customer 360 Platform across a set of existing Salesforce customers as well as breaking into net new logos in your assigned territory
  • Responsible for a client portfolio in the Higher Education sector running the sales process end to end
  • Use your solution selling expertise to respond optimally to customer needs and identify business potential in order to to create a strategic, long-term partnership
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Industry Solutions, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineering and Customer Success team to drive growth across the targeted territory accounts.
  • Develop and drive strategic initiatives, account plans into the targeted territory accounts.
  • Develop sales strategy, negotiate & close business
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement

About You

  • 10 years of full cycle sales experience
  • Previous experience selling complex software solutions into Enterprise customers
  • Experience managing large accounts and prospecting whitespace
  • Consistent over-achievement of quota and revenue goals of USD $1M - $1.5M in subscription revenue
  • Experience engaging and selling into the C-suite and Directors and all LOBs
  • Proven track record with relevant customer relationships
  • Ability to leverage virtual and extended teams including Salesforce services partners.
  • Proven ability to lead complex commercial processes
  • Proven ability working with legal and sales operations team to negotiate deal closure.
