An exciting opportunity has become available for an Account Executive to join our WA Energy & Power and Marine Specialty Practices / Risk Management Practice team.
This position will assist the team’s Senior Brokers in all aspects of client services including client contact, administration, technical support and business development.
The suitable candidate will have exposure to the insurance brokerage industry in any class of insurance with a good attitude and brilliant organisation skills. Tier 1 qualification in Insurance Broking is essential. The role can grow into a specialised Account Broker or suit an individual who simply loves a support role and job security.

We will count on you to:
- Analyse risks and assist with developing solutions for clients’ needs.
- Assist with responding to client queries and concerns, resolve issues promptly in order to maintain client satisfaction.
- Support and assist in the design, development, and marketing of new brokerage products and programs to win new projects.
- Assist Senior Brokers on more complex client assignments.
- Demonstrate proficient awareness of market conditions to better serve clients.
- Update management on issues, progress, etc., regularly and upon request to ensure high quality client service.
- Monitor accounts (payments, collections, etc.) anticipating and preventing problems when possible.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance companies to efficiently communicate client demands and requests internally.
- Potentially assess contract documents.
What you need to have:
- Tier 1 qualifications
- Client Service – excellent delivery of technical, administrative and consulting support to internal senior colleagues and external clients
- Change - awareness of environmental, financial, regulatory and social factors affecting company and clients’ operations and business and knowledge of internal company technological and product capabilities
- Commercial Acumen - an in-depth understanding of factors impacting on the delivery of services by the Company
- Planning and Organization – development and implementation of courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently and on time
- Drive & Self-Motivation – demonstration of a willingness to take on increased responsibilities and display the ability to act independently
