Accessory Fitter

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated 4WD Accessory Fitter to join our team at Camp-G. As a 4WD Accessory Fitter, you will be responsible for installing a variety of aftermarket accessories on 4WD vehicles, ensuring they are fitted to the highest standard. This is a hands-on role that requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for 4WD vehicles and the outdoor lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

Install a wide range of 4WD accessories, including bull bars, roof racks, tow bars, suspension kits, and lighting systems.

Perform mechanical, electrical, and structural fittings on vehicles, ensuring all accessories are securely and correctly installed.

Conduct quality checks on installations to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.

Provide expert advice to customers on the best accessories for their specific 4WD needs.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working condition.

Assist with inventory management and order parts when needed.

Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely delivery of services.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the fitting process.

Keep up to date with the latest trends in 4WD accessories and installation techniques.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in fitting 4WD accessories or similar mechanical and electrical installations.

Strong knowledge of 4WD systems, accessories, and modifications.

Mechanical trade qualifications or equivalent experience (e.g., Automotive Technician).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.

A passion for 4WD vehicles, camping, and outdoor activities.

Own tools and equipment (preferred, but not mandatory).

Current driver’s license (manual preferred).
