The Academic Quality and Standards team manages University-level processes for course and unit management, professional accreditation, quality reviews and academic policy development. It provides expert advice on the requirements of the Higher Education Threshold Standards and regulation by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), Educational Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) and Vocational Educational and Training requirements with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
The Role
The Academic Programs Adviser provides support and guidance on curriculum approval and accreditation, providing essential support for School staff to ensure the delivery of quality outcomes to students. This position is also responsible for ensuring compliance with external regulatory standards, and ECU Policy, in relation to the development and review of curriculum. In addition to establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders across the university, this role plays a key role in the development and implementation of initiatives to support the ongoing enhancement of academic programs.
